Days are dark by 6pm now, and that means I will probably have a lot more night photography. I'm glad I came across this photo opportunity as I was going home (I always have 1 eye toward the sky) because it is hard to take photos at night with no tripod and my camera's puny low-light capabilities, but I did what I could. I've been carrying my zoom lens around now too, though it's more weight to carry, but worth the shoulder pains.
